Caribou Café features Chef Desaintmartin's hearty comfort food -- the kind he grew up with, and the one the French eat every day.
His dishes comes from Provence, Gascony, Loire, Burgundy, Brittany, Paris, Lyon and more…cuisine that is simple, but elegant and tasty.
His second restaurant, ZINC, is no less than a replica of a "le Marais" style bar and restaurant. Le Marais is the oldest section of Paris, known as an artist's preferred locale. Desaintmartin bought a 1919 zinc bar from a Parisian bar, refinished it, and shipped it to this quaint 40-seat bar & restaurant.
