Biography

Master Chef Hervé Malivert – director of culinary technology & Culinary Chef Coordinator, The International Culinary Center
Chef Hervé Father was a Cheese maker, in is young age Chef Herve use to accompanied is father delivery Cheese to Restaurant. Chef Herve’s enthusiasm for the kitchen was evident by the age of 12. The complexity of French cooking from his homeland, the Rhône region of France, shaped his culinary outlook as he worked in some of the most well-known restaurants in France, like Joel robluchon and Roger Vergé.

His passion for cooking rivals his taste for excitement. In addition to the two decades spent working in restaurants worldwide, he has spent a year and a half traveling through Africa and has taken up photography as a hobby. Chef Hervé teaches students in the classic culinary program new technologies such as sous vide and low temperature cooking. His sense of adventure is also put to good use testing new recipes for L’École, always aiming to take the food to new heights. His international experience is reflected in his personal motto: Make food, not war! Chef Hervé joined The FCI in 2006.
