MCF to Participate in Focus on French Cinema

Maîtres Cuisiniers de France USA is honored to take part in this year’s Focus on French Cinema Film Festival. The festival,was founded in 2005 in partnership with the Alliance Française of Greenwich, CT; and is dedicated to the international cultural identity of French and Francophone cinema honoring the achievement of French language film. The event itinerary goes as follows:

March 23

Screening of Angèle and Tony (87 minutes)

The Gala Buffet: ”Les Maîtres Cuisiniers de France and L’Académie Culinaire de France will be delighting guests with the best of French Cuisine. Guests will enjoy Perrier-Jouët Champagne and mingle and meet the chefs.

The Silent Auction: ”Bid on everything from a Champagne Sunset cruise on Long Island Sound to a African Safari for two at the Zulu Nyala Private Game reserve.”

March 24

11:45 La Table Ronde: Round Table, discussions between actors and directors.

12-6 pm assorted short films.

12-8 pm “Rue des Restaurants”: Restaurant Street! Guests will enjoy “Restaurant Street”

Wine & coffee
Croques-monsieurs, crêpes, quiches
Miniature apple tarts
Foie gras and oxtail torchon
Cotignac (quince) en coulis
Macaroons
Tuna Tartare
Sausage and herb polenta with Beaufort
Chocolate, products from D’Artagnan, and more…

Food will be provided by Provence en Boite in Brooklyn, Jean-Louis in Greenwich, L’atelier du chocolat, Union League Cafe in New Haven, Orsay Restaurant in NYC, D’Artagnan, Swiss Favorites, White Toque , Les Canelés de Céline of NYC, and Wave Hill Breads of Wilton.
