French Gastronomy Gets The Red Carpet Treatment in The US

French gastronomy is the subject of two promotions this fall—”Celebrate Fall the French Way” and “French Spice”—which are bringing France’s culinary panache to U.S. palates. “Celebrate Fall the French Way” was active across the country from October 18th through November 7th. Supported by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture & Fisheries and in partnership with chefs group Maîtres Cuisiniers de France, participating restaurants—including New York’s Madison Bistro and Cercle Rouge, Boston’s Petit Robert Bistro, and California’s Left Bank among many others—offered $35 Chef’s Selections complemented by Rhône Valley and Alsace wine selections. The promotion is part of an ongoing “Celebrate the French Way” campaign sponsored by Alsace and the Rhône.

“French Spice” is zeroing in on the important Miami market. Running through the month of November, it features prix fixe meals for both lunch and dinner at a host of French culinary destinations around Miami, including Starfish, Provence Grill and Pistache among others. Presented by the French American Chamber of Commerce and French Week and supported by Sofitel Luxury Hotels, “French Spice” is bringing maximum exposure to Miami’s vibrant community of French eateries.
